As part of our promotional film package, we have to create a film poster displaying/ advertising our film. In this post i shall be looking at simular products to what we shall produce for our film, 'Inside My Reality'.
Typically, film posters feature a picture of the main character(s) and the film title in the centre of the poster. It also often includes release date or a 'coming soon' title of some sort. Some film posters display a tag line and are often in colours associated with the key themes or genre. They often include ratings or reviews and display the main actor/actress' name on the poster, to attract an already formed fan base. A few posters also feature the production company name or director.

Below is a presentation of a brief analysis of the film poster for the social realist drama 'Kidulthood'. Kidulthood is about the day in the life of a group of teenagers growing up in west London. It was directed by Menhaj Huda and features less known actors to increase verisimilitude, however, because of these films they have become renound actors, such as Adam Deacon and Noel Clarke.
